Direct TV vs Comcast HD

Much has been said by both Direct TV and Comcast when it comes to high definition, or HD programming.   What it really comes down to is whether you want HD channels, or HD on demand.  Direct TV has the most HD channels, claiming over 130, but many of these are PPV channels.   Comparing Direct TV vs Comcast, the cable television company has much more when it comes to on demand.   This is because the Direct TV video on demand setup uses the customers high speed internet connection to download content.  Comcast on the other hand uses their last mile network,  making the process much smoother.
