From Bowling To Fencing
The year that I got into fencing was 1997 I think. I remember that at the time I was actually really into bowling and I was about to enter into a local tournament. Then one of my closest friends introduced me to the sport of fencing and I must say that I fell in love with it. Although it might sound really cheesy but it is true I was amazed at how the sport was played out. I also went and found out that the sport has a very rich history. So in no more than a week I went to a local pawn shop and sold all of my bowling equipment that I had and I bought myself all the necessary fencing gear and I have been practicing it ever since.
