History of cuban cigars

The history of cuban cigars is full of richness, tradition and pride. Back when Christopher discovered America, the natives offered him Cohiba leaves (Known today as Cohiba cigar) in a pipe they called ‘Tobacco’. It was a peace offering by the natives and when the rest of the European market was introduced to it, Cuban tobacco just took over by storm. Soon the Europeans realized that this ‘tobacco’ is worth more than any amount of gold or silver combined. Soon every year the tobacco plant spread deeper and deeper every where from continent to continent. Slowly consuming the rest of the world until people became aware of the addictive element of nicotine in it.
