Add URL Basics

Many website owners are tempted to use paid site submission. This is because the competition for top page ranks in Google is so strong. Beware of the “Add URL to thousands of search engines” claims though. Many of these are scams. Who has ever seen or used those “thousands” of search engines that they refer to? They don’t exist. Besides taking your money, these “services” often take people’s e-mail addresses and sell them to spammers. There are other, more reliable methods of web site promotion that you can use. Add health URLs to reputable listings only, and follow their directions for easy submission.
