Medieval Chrsitian Jewelry

I often find myself wondering what kind of Christian Jewelry christians wore hundreds of years ago. I guess from the time of the enlightenment and on, it’s pretty easy to tell what they wore since it’s in all the art and in places like venice, there’s still remnants of the styles from those days.  But I’m speaking more about a thousand years ago when everything was dark and people lived in dilapidated villages or big dark and smelly castles.  The times of the crusades.  Did people wear Christian Jewelry in those days as well? I would imagine so. I would just love to know what it looked like!
