It is hard to beleive
Get plenty of rest in the hotels Rome has because there is so much to see that you will be exhausted every day. I went to Castle St. Angelo but I paused on the bridge leading there. I wonder if all of the visitors realize how many heads from executions by decapitation were hung along the sides of this bridge. More likely they think of the treasure that was kept in the castle or that this castle was where the Pope would flee to in case of emergency through a covered fortified corridor. This is just one of the marvelous sights to see in Rome.
