Sing like nobody is listening. I don’t recall where I first heard that saying but it is so true for shy people like me. I love to sing but I don’t want anybody to hear me singing. So when I discovered that I could sing karaoke online I was thrilled.
You can sing away at the top of your voice and just let your inner self come through. There is no worry about being embarassed as you don’t have to publish your recordings but I was surprised to find that I was quite happy to let others see my recordings.
