Plaques - For Understated Elegance

There are many ways a building or business can appear elegant.

Sometimes a location, such as Park
Avenue is considered upscale, and having a doorman is a definite sign of sophistication.

But I don’t think anything looks as refined as a building with an address plaque.

And I’ve noticed that the finest, most fashionable businesses are often announced with a simple plaque containing one word, such as, “Tiffany’s”.

Many ultra-refined clubs and estates can also be identified by plaques, and some do not even include the name - just a number.

The plaque which identifies a building or home may not say precisely who or what it houses, but it’s beautiful design and careful placement say a lot more.
