Our family lives in a part of town developed back in the mid-to-late 1950s into the mid 1960s. So the houses are older, but not so old to be completely outdated.
One thing we like about living here are the rows upon rows of mature pin oak trees. They are simply awesome all year round.
The only hassle is the amount of leaves they drop every fall.
It usually takes at least 3 or 4 separate days to get them all cleared.
Doing so in our yard is no big deal because we can do it ourselves.
But for many of our elderly neighbors, finding a landscaper in my town to do the work for them is just a phone call away.
