My husband and I bought an older home. It needed new siding, and we spent a long time deciding which type of siding to purchase and install. We chose cedar shake siding. I love our new cedar shake vinyl siding. It looks great, and I know that it will protect our home. We chose it over traditional vinyl siding, because it is more decorative, and it gives the house a textured look. It compliments the architectural style of our home very well. It looks much like the siding that was on our home, but it will protect our house much better than the old siding did.
