Fried chicken recipe that spans generations
Fried chicken in the Northern states is no where near the Southern fried chicken. After living in New York City for five years, I’ve still not found an eatery with a fried chicken recipe that quenched my Southern taste. I think the reason is that the south has such a diverse cultural background and many recipes are not shared and passed down from generation to generation. As cultures intermingled and recipes are infused through marriage, they take on different soul. Recipes become better through the test of time and trial and error. The end result is the perfect fried chicken recipe that spans generations.
