Classic Performance from the Daiwa BG 90
I especially like the wooden folding handle of the Daiwa BG 90. It just adds a touch of class to some basic fishing gear. Well, actually, it is not so basic after all. The Black Gold series offers strong metal construction, anodized anti-corrosion material and a forty pound, 170 meter capacity. The Daiwa BG 90 is as much a performer as it is a classic. It is probably one of the most practical buys for deep sea fishing. I have brought my Daiwa BG 90 along travels across three different oceans – the Atlantic, Antarctic and Pacific – over a span of one year and have not had any problems with corrosion or deformation. It really is a great investment, an excellent piece of equipment that will last a long, long time.
