Some Possible Reasons For Morning Headaches

Recent studies have shown that something like about 8% of adults suffer to a greater or lesser degree from a headache when they wake up, but just what causes headaches in the morning? Not surprisingly there is no one single cause but studies have found that there are a number of common factors. These include snoring (or sleeping with someone who snores), grinding your teeth during sleep, limb movement disorders such as restless leg syndrome, hypertension, anxiety and depression. In addition, the majority of doctors believe that the most likely cause of morning headaches is sleep apnea, which is a very common and all too often undiagnosed sleep disorder.
