Our ancestors followed the best diet.

Many years ago, people were not as concerned with dieting and weight loss as they are today.  That is because our ancestors followed the best diet.

If we just modeled what people ate before modern man began to modify our earth’s natural food sources, we would be a much healthier country and a much healthier planet.  Not to mention, a much slimmer planet!

Here are the foods are ancestors ate on a regular basis:

1.  Meat from animals they raised and killed.  This includes cows, chickens, turkeys, deer and even rabits.

2.  Fish that they caught themselves.

3.  Vegetables that they grew in their gardens or that were purchased from a local farmer.

4.  Fruits that they picked themselves or purchased from a local farmer.

5.  Milk from their own cows (no pasteurization) and dairy products like cheese and butter that they made from this milk.

6.  Raw nuts and seeds that they picked themselves.

Notice that all of these foods are natural to our earth and do not require any man-made processing.  None of these foods require a box or preservatives to keep them in a box. 

These are the foods we need to focus on to achieve a healthy, well balanced diet that will keep us feeling and looking great.
