The Art of E-mail…

If you are the owner of a small business or if you are simply a person who loves using the internet, chances are that you like to use your email accounts to communicate with people.  However, there is a certain type of art to emailing someone.  For instance, if someone emails you, provided it is not spam, make sure that you email them back as soon as you can.  There is nothing worse than sitting around waiting for an email back from someone, only to never receive it.  If the email you are sending is important, make sure that you put it in the header that it’s important.  Make every effort to reach the person or give your email high priority by tweeking the subject line so that it is noticeable in the person’s inbox.  For example, instead of putting "Read Me" put something related to the subject such as "Important Telephone Bill from Fran".  The more specific you make it, the more likely it will not look like spam.
