Security guard hit with own baton
News station KRQE, which is based in ALBUQUERQUE New Mexico today reported that a security guard at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Albuquerque was attacked by an out of control homeless man Monday morning. Police said the guard approached the man at Sixth and Copper, and then the homeless man grabbed the guard’s baton and hit him with it. The officer then sprayed the homeless man with pepper spray. The homeless man was then arrested and taken to the Albuquerque Metropolitan Detention Center on an aggravated battery charge. The shaken security guard was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
