Hybrid water burning cars

My husband told me about a very large car company that was in the news lately. This company plans to roll out a new hybrid car or line of cars that will run on water, or a combination of gas and water. It is an intriguing idea. I am wondering how much those new hybrids will cost? This was actually the first time I had heard of using water 4 gas. I understand the huge cost savings in operating a vehicle that would use part water. It just seems that no matter what, though, you will either pay for the gas or for the latest technology.
