Distinct Style and Color
I have been studying different eras and their pottery work for some time now and what I appreciate most is the large collection of Ancient Greek pottery that has been able to withstand the ages. Not only were the pieces exceptionally sturdy in design, but the colors and vibrant and detailed pictures on the pottery itself have also stood up remarkably well against the elements. It is really easy to distinguish the ancient Greek work in contrast to other civilizations and perhaps not unless a new civilization is unearthed will my love for the ancient Greek work be matched in quality, style and color.
