Central Iowa weather slows tourism
Central Iowa tourism is at an all time high. There have been many new attractions completed in Des Moines and there have even been a couple of sports teams added. As this winter turns to spring there will be an upsurge. Winter keeps a good share of people in the local area home. They know how slick the streets can get during a snow storm and the prefer not to take the chance. Most accidents are slow speed fender benders, but some of the interstate crashes are fatal. It isn’t uncommon to see Life Flight flying its helicopter to the scene of a collision.
